Accounting Software for EOFY and Payday Super

Updated 17 October 2026 · General information · 2 min read

General information only, not tax or financial advice. This site is not the ATO. Check ato.gov.au or ask a registered tax agent. Last checked against ATO and Parliament sources: 17 October 2026. Examples use made-up numbers. Dates and amounts marked uncertain should be re-checked.

Short answer: Payday Super means paying and reporting super with each payday, so payroll, STP and SuperStream support matters in the software you already use or might choose. These products were not tested here, and they are not ranked. No affiliate link is active.

What to ask any provider

  1. Payday Super support. Does it calculate on qualifying earnings, pay within 7 business days, and report both qualifying earnings and the super liability through STP? Ask for the provider's own statement. This site has not verified any product's Payday Super claims.
  2. STP and BAS. Lodgment features, and whether your registered agent can access the file.
  3. Assets. Whether there is an asset register that can record an instant write-off and the small business pool.
  4. Price and plan limits for employees and invoices. Current prices were not checked.
  5. Data export and support if you later change product.
  6. Your agent's preference. Many tax agents work in one or two products. That is a practical constraint, not a ranking from this site.

Names that often come up in this search are Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Zoho Books. Listing a name is not a recommendation, and it is not a statement that the product meets the tests above.

Affiliate links

No affiliate link is switched on. Empty slots stay hidden, and this page does not show an Ad label while they are empty. If a link is added later, it is marked Ad, uses a sponsored relationship, and only appears after the program is approved in the site config. Commission rates are not stated. Affiliate program terms, eligibility for a small site, and identity checks at signup were not verified.
